Rep. Karen Lupton

Georgia State Representative Karen Lupton has served in the General Assembly since 2023. Although she has 20 years of experience as a classically trained singer, Karen was drawn to political service in the aftermath of the 2016 presidential election. She previously served on the Chamblee City Council before being elected to serve under the Gold Dome. A fervent supporter
of public schools and advocate for sexual assault victims, Karen loves her job as a public servant and loves talking about it even more. She and her husband Jonathan have raised two fantastic children and currently spend most evenings talking to their rescued animals - two affectionate dogs and a semi-feral cat. Karen’s desire is to connect with people across the political spectrum, but she is a die-hard Democrat and member of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus.
